We’re excited to share our latest round of Aimtell updates, designed to make your web push notification campaigns smarter, more efficient and easier to manage. Whether you’re running an ecommerce store, focused on growing your subscriber base or streamlining team collaboration, these updates offer valuable enhancements to help you.
In this release, we’re introducing a powerful WooCommerce integration, expanded browse abandonment capabilities for Shopify and WooCommerce, UTM tracking for new subscribers, enhanced collapse key functionality across all campaign types and a new billing perk. Let’s get into it!
Aimtell has long had an integration with WordPress, but we’ve taken it a step further by adding WooCommerce functionality to our integration. If your ecommerce store runs on WooCommerce, you can now easily track abandoned carts and set up dynamic abandoned cart notifications to re-engage potential customers and capture more sales.
To get started, head into your WordPress dashboard, navigate to the Aimtell Push settings, and check the box for “WooCommerce Engagement Boost.” With just a few clicks, you’ll have everything set up to re-engage shoppers and easily recover potential sales. Check out our documentation for more information.

While abandoned cart campaigns are incredibly effective, there’s immense value in reaching customers even earlier in their buying journey. It’s now easier than ever to re-target these interested customers using our new browse abandonment feature, which is now available for both WooCommerce and Shopify integrations.
With this feature, a new custom event will track when a visitor spends time on a product page but doesn’t take further action, such as adding the item to their cart or making a purchase. You can then use that custom event to trigger a push notification to help re-engage the interested user and drive them back to your website and the product they are interested in.
Understanding where your subscribers are coming from is key to growing your audience effectively. With our new UTM tracking feature, you can now view subscriber growth broken down by UTM source and medium over a selected date range.
This update provides valuable insight into which traffic sources are driving subscriber sign-ups, allowing you to fine-tune your marketing strategies, invest more in successful channels and identify opportunities for improvement. Head to the Overview section of the dashboard to view this information, along with all of our other analytics.
We recently introduced our collapse key feature, and now we’re excited to expand its support beyond manual campaigns to include all push types: triggered, RSS and API campaigns.
With collapse keys, you can ensure subscribers see only the most up-to-date notification, delivering the information they need without any unnecessary repetition. Whether you’re sending regular updates, time-sensitive alerts or automated messages, collapse keys make it easy to deliver a more streamlined notification experience. Check out our documentation to learn more.
We’ve added a simple yet powerful billing update for those of you with numerous team members managing your Aimtell accounts. You can now share billing access with other team members, ensuring seamless collaboration on your account. Head to the Settings section of the dashboard, and from the ‘Other Permissions’ tab, you can enable who has access to billing or plan information.
