Two Factor Authentication Comes to Aimtell

Internet security has become an increasing concern for just about everyone these days. Data breaches occur on a nearly regular basis, prompting even the least tech savvy individuals to question the safety of their personal information online. In fact, 7 out of 10 people no longer trust their passwords to adequately protect their online information.

Here at Aimtell, we take security very seriously. Nearly 70% of people want companies to offer an additional layer of security online, and we are glad to announce that our latest feature provides just that. Starting today you can now enable two factor authentication for your Aimtell account.

Two Factor Authentication

This authentication adds another level of security when logging into your account. This optional feature is easily enabled by navigating to your dashboard and clicking the ‘Settings’ tab. From the drop down menu, select ‘2FA (Two Factor Auth).’

All you need to do to enable this feature is switch the status from Disabled to Enabled. Type in your preferred phone number below that and press save- that’s it! Once enabled, anytime you try to login we will send a code to the given phone number that you will need to provide in order to gain access to your account.

Once enabled, the login screen will now also ask you for a 2FA Code

Signing in to your account will now include this additional step (shown above). All you need to do is type in the code that is sent to your phone and you will be logged in to your account.
